I have no idea what I'm doing.

I don’t want to be a writer.

I’m not an artist. I’m not a developer. I’m not a community builder. Or a mod.

Hi. My name is hoffcolors (you can just call me hoff).

One of the reasons why I don’t want to be a writer is because I don’t think of myself as a particularly well-spoken person. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t have things to say… or ask. Perfect segue into what I really want to do in this space.

Ask.

A lot has happened since I started with NFT’s.

I’ve made money (mostly paper-handed profits).

Lost more.

Underexposed myself to great projects.

Overexposed myself to rugs.

I’ve spent countless hours on OpenSea (in the office and in bed, much to my girlfriend’s chagrin.)

Lost more money.

Changed my identity numerous times. And much more.

But most importantly, I’ve met some of the most incredibly talented and interesting people that I have ever met in my life through NFT’s. And most of them, I am very proud to call my frens.

And I. Have. Questions.

Since I am none of the things that I listed in the second line, I thought “Why not ask them questions?”

So that’s what I am doing with my upcoming interview series called: Color Profiles.

Through Color Profiles, I want to highlight artists and the people behind the art in the NFT space. Focusing on the culture, the journey, the art, the people, and everything else Web3 (and anything else I want to write about).

My hopes with this endeavor are to show what some of your (and my) favorite artists, builders, and connectors are like behind the NFT pfp.

I hope you can follow me along in this journey.
